Personal Information
Full Name:Nymphadora Tonks
Heritage:Halfblood
Nationality: British
Spoken Languages:English
Place of Birth:London
Age/Date of Birth: 24 (DoB Unknown)
Approved Special Features: Metamorphmagus
Looks:
General Appearance:Tonks is able to change appearance, but she generally, (unless something major has happened in her life) has a heart shaped face with bright pink short hair. She usually wears comfortable clothes, such as jeans or anything that feels nice to wear. When she is unhappy, like during Harry's fifth year, her hair turns mousy brown and she looks ill and drawn.
She wears anything comfortable, usually jeans and a t-shirt, unless she is out at work or at a special occasion, where she is quite formal.
Personality:
General Character Traits: Tonks is usually bubbly, and funny. She enjoys a laugh, and at Hogwarts, this was a small downfall (not exact quote) she asys something like "I was never made a Prefect as I lacked "certain necessary qualities", such as the ability to behave myself". She is very loyal to Dumbledore, and the Order, and enjoys being around the members of the Order.
Likes:(Loves) Remus Lupin. (Likes) Making people laugh, helping out the Order, "The Weird Sisters" and just having people around her
Dislikes:Voldemort, Death Eaters, anyone who doesn't like Dumbledore, being so clumsy.
Personal History:
Parents: Tonks' parents are Andromeda Tonks (née Black) and Ted Tonks.
Siblings:None as known
Background Story: Tonks was born to Andromeda and Ted, and her aunts are Narcissa Malfoy and Bellatrix Lestrange. She attended Hogwarts (where her House is unknown) and (we can assume) she passed her Transfiguration, Charms, Potions, Defence against the Dark Arts and Herbology NEWT's with all receiving an "E" level, or above. She passed most subjects minus History of Magic, and Divination. She decided not to try and attempt Arithmancy or Ancient Runes, so she could do well in her usual subjects.
After passing her NEWT's and leaving Hogwarts, she then did three years of Auror training. She gained top marks in Disguise and Concealment without any practise, thanks to her Metamorphmagi skills. She almost failed her Stealth and Tracking test due to her clumsiness. Shortly after passing her tests and becoming a fully-fledged Auror, she was approached to join the Order, presumably by Dumbledore or Lupin.
Hogwarts Sorting:
Strong Area of Magic: Defence against the Dark Arts and Charms.
Weak Area of Magic:History of Magic.
Preferred House Choice: Order of the Phoenix
Responsibility or Guidance?:Part of each. She loves having the responsibility, but since she is of a younger age than most of the rest of the Order, she likes being guided along her path sometimes too.
Forgiveness or Justice?:Justice.
Adventure or Security?:Adventure. She is very outgoing, and likes the adrenaline rush.
What does "Never tickle a sleeping dragon" mean to your character?Never try to be something more than you are, for sleeping dragons are when they are not seen as the scary, monstrous creatures, but the calm, placid ones.
Minor Details:
Pets: None
Wand:Ash 12 inches, Unicorn Hair and Dragon heartstring
Quidditch position: Tonks can play in most positions, but likes Beating most.
RP response: Tonks walked down the path, slowly, the crisp snow crunching beneath her trainers. Watching the Muggles in their cars roll by, she looked around. It was white. It was Christmas, but it was unsatisfying. Her eyes flicked to the air. It was snowing, but she was unhappy. She'd had a bad day at the Ministry, she'd found out that more people were missing and, quite frankly, she was fed up with it. She was under strain, just like the rest of the Aurors. Since Sirius had died, 12 Grimmauld Place was sombre. It was cold and unwanting. It felt so...dead without Sirius' bright, larger than life attitude.
Her eyes wandered around, until they lay back to the floor, and she stopped. Leaning against a lamp post, she sighed. The Order was, no doubt, going to want to do their own bit of investigating, and of course, the Aurors would be involved. Her, Remus and Kingsley, would probably be a few of those who would be in demand. After all, Remus was one of the "old crowd" and could give her needed advice...if she would listen. After all, she couldn't exactly deny the fact that she felt for him...a lot more than many would have originally believed, but now the whole Order knew. Thankfully, many kept it to themselves, and Tonks hoped it was to save any unnecessary discussion.
Kingsley, was her boss, basically. A senior Auror, with some rather amazing ability. Before Sirius' death, he had been in charge of the whole "let's hunt him down and get him back into Azkaban before anyone has a chance to prove his innocence" thing, thanks to Fudge. Thankfully, he misdirected and sent wrong instructions, aided and abetted by a wonderful Arthur Weasley, whom she felt very much in awe of.
Looking down at her watch, she gasped. She was getting later and later. Running, she hid behind a tall tree, and did a tight pirouette. With a "pop" she disapparated, into Grimmauld Place, and ran to the door of Number 12.
